My Class Reunion During The December Holidays

This was supposed to be my first class reunion for the holidays. I hoped it would go well. It didn't start off very well. First off, when i got the message for the reunion, it was 12 midnight and i didn't realize it so i thought it was Thursday when it was actually Wednesday. This was due to the fact that i had accidentally fallen asleep at about 8pm and woken up at 10.30pm. So the next day, i left at 11.15 in the morning because i thought that the reunion was that day and not the next.

I was wondering where everyone was so i sent a message to Desiree, who had planned the reunion.
Then she told me that the reunion was actually tomorrow. This resulted in me feeling like a complete idiot. So i informed my parents of the unfortunate incident and went back home.

During the day of the actual reunion, i was the first one to arrive, followed by Nura, Sejal, Rebecca and Xiu Min. They didn't realize i was standing behind them for half an hour until Xiu Min noticed me and said hi. After 10 more minutes, Desiree arrived with Shaun, Ee Jian, Chen Xi ,Jing Kai and Chai Puay . We proceeded to split up to get our lunch before meeting up outside the movie ticket booth. We bought 13 tickets for the movie "Gulliver's Travels" and since we had an hour or two before the movie started, we went to Iluma which was conveniently located across the street. We spent our time there playing at the arcade. After that, we went to watch the movie which was quite funny. Before we left, we took a photo together. It was a great way to record and end our class reunion.

One Of My Best Saturdays Ever

One of my best days started off a bit rough. I woke up to my cousin beating me with a pillow for HALF AN HOUR. I stubbornly refused to wake up so he DRAGGED me off the bed. He did that just because he wanted me to finish watching Aliens Vs Predator: Requiem with him. After we finished watching the movie, I had my bathe and my breakfast before continuing the day's plans, which was a marathon of Call Of Duty: Black Ops, that lasted 6 HOURS.

It started off with 2 hours of mindlessly killing A.I.-controlled dummies set on the highest difficulties. Followed by 2 hours of fending off endless waves of zombies before finishing off with 2 hours of challenging online players from around the world.

By the time he left, it was already 2 in the afternoon. About an hour after he left, my parents took us out to watch the movie RED. The movie was about a team of retired CIA Black Ops commandos who are being hunted down by their own organization for an unknown reason. The movie was AWESOME although the ending was a bit corny. This was the best ending for one of my best saturdays.

The Day I Almost Killed Abdal Hakeem

This day was one of my most vividly remembered days, which is a rarity due to my short-term memory. It was the day i almost strangled Abdal Hakeem during a geography lesson. It happened last year.

Our geography teacher, Miss Tan Jia Ying, was picking 5 people to participate in an amazing race across Katong. At first, i was one of the few picked. However, our teacher decided to swap me out for Faizur. I was briefly disappointed but got over it. But Hakeem couldn't resist rubbing it in my face. So he asked me if i was crying as if he was announcing it to the world. This resulted in the entire class looking at me and my emotional wall crumbling down. I briefly contemplated killing Hakeem with my penknife, but decided against it. Seconds later, i threw my water bottle at him and it hit his head dead-on.

After that, I proceeded to strangle him. I was lucky I failed as I would have regretted it. After calming down somewhat, I headbutted him and when Jun Wei asked me if I was okay, I slapped his face. I spent the next 5-10 minutes resting my head on the table and crying. After a while, Hakeem and i reconciled and we never spoke about it again.......until now

NCC SEA Camp December 2010 (Something That Took Place In School)

The NCC SEA camp was last year during the last few days of the holidays. It was the only time when all the parts (A,B,C,D and seniors) were together in one place over 3 days and 2 nights. The camp was located mainly in school. It was organized to forge a bond between the parts.

During the first day, we spent the entire morning having physical training(PT) which resulted in most of us getting muscle cramps and being unable to run for a while. After lunch, we took the bus to the kayaking center where we had a kayaking race in the nearby river. My team would have won if i hadn't been rammed multiple times by the other team. The worst surprise we got was at night. Our seniors woke us up after 2 hours of sleep to watch a horror movie(of which i didn't watch a single second of) which was followed by a night walk(which i chickened out of with my fellow recruit and corporal). We all ended up sleeping at 3am of which i was happy to obliged. My friend commented that i fell like a tree onto my sleeping bag and slept like a log.

During the 2nd day, we did some drills and went through a few lectures as our seniors knew how tired we were. Nighttime was more exciting as we had a nighttime training exercise where we could only communicate using hand signs.

The last day was the more event filled day. We recruited more Secondary Ones during the orientation and spent the evening brushing up on our drills. We had a talent time contest before finishing the camp off with a huge barbecue. It was one of the most memorable camps i had ever been to.
